Rinkside Lab
A hockey stats site you talk to: type "Connor McDavid 2023-24" or "compare Ovechkin and Crosby career goals" and it builds a dashboard from every season since 1917-18 — then keeps changing it as you ask for more.

Rinkside Lab is the hockey member of the family. Ask for a player, a team or a stretch of seasons and it builds a board of stat tiles, charts and tables; keep talking to it to compare, trim or switch seasons.
Hockey has its own arithmetic. Standings are decided by points, not wins, so overtime losses count; skaters and goalies need different numbers; and a season crosses New Year. The site handles all of it, back to the NHL's first season in 1917-18.
Follow-ups work on the whole board: "Oilers 2024-25", then "on the road", and every chart narrows to those games. In edit mode widgets can be moved, resized, copied and pasted. Every game has a page that opens with its story over a stack of charts.
Its Models page sets every team's wins against what its goals for and against say it should have won, and rates each club with its schedule taken into account.
It runs on the same engine as HoopVision Lab and Batter Lab, so a fix made once reaches all three.
