Get a website that wins customers — built and looked after for you.
A site that looks fine can still lose you customers. I build the page people see and the software behind it — booking, payments, a dashboard you run yourself — custom, hosted, and for less than an agency charges.

What clients say.
I had a great experience working with Mason on our website. He was able to take our ideas and turn them into a professional, polished site incredibly quickly. What stood out most was how responsive and receptive he was throughout the process. Whenever we had changes or wanted to try something different, he was quick to make adjustments and make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it.The whole process was smooth, efficient, and much easier than I expected. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone to build a professional website without making the process complicated or time-consuming.
Website was up and running in quick and timely manner. Any changes I have were meet with great success. Overall look and usability are great. No drop off from Laptop, to tablet, to phone all three devices work the same and is very user friendly. Overall a great experience and product
I highly recommend Mason Obegi for professional website design and development. He built our website while we were vacationing outside the country and worked with us day and night to make sure everything was set up properly. From start to finish, Mason was professional, patient, responsive, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to our questions and ideas, explained the pros and cons of different options, and guided us step by step through the entire process. We are extremely pleased with our finished website and excited about the additional business opportunities it provides for our company. Mason genuinely cares about his clients and their businesses, and we would gladly recommend him to anyone looking for a professional, reliable, and talented website designer.
Mason works incredibly efficiently and is always willing to make any changes needed to help bring your vision to life. I would highly recommend his services to anyone!

These are starting prices — what a build at this tier usually runs. More pages than the tier covers, or a system beyond its allowance, moves the number up; the prices for both are published below, so you can work out your own before we speak. You get one fixed quote in writing on the call, and nothing is charged until you approve it. The agency figure beside each tier is my own estimate of what that scope gets quoted at, not survey data — there is no credible public survey of what small businesses pay, and the sourcing note under the comparison below says so in full.
Pages, systems, how fast you need it, and how you pay. Any of them can move — tell me which one matters and I will rebuild the quote around it. If the number is more than you want to spend, the answer is a smaller build, not a worse one: drop a system, launch with fewer pages, add the rest once the site is paying for itself.
What goes in the build is up for discussion. What it costs to build properly is not — I would rather scope it down than do it badly at a discount.
Systems: add only what you need.
One price each, the same on any tier, and the same whether it goes in at launch or a year later. No Care plan includes one.
Online payments
Take deposits and payments right on your site.
Online booking
Fill your calendar; deposits cut no-shows.
Online store
Sell products 24/7 with cart & checkout.
Lead capture
Turn ad clicks into booked calls with landing pages.
Articles / blog
Rank for what your customers actually Google.
Automated email
Instant follow-ups, so no lead goes cold.
Something else
Something your business needs that is not on this list. Tell me what it has to do and I will quote it with the build — most things are smaller than they sound.
Ten pages and online booking, bought separately, come to $3,400. Business is $3,250 — and it adds the dashboard you edit the site from, which is not sold on its own. Twenty pages with online booking, online store and articles / blog come to $7,300; Professional is $4,500. That is why the tiers cost what they cost, and why loading a smaller one up is the expensive way to get there.
Those two sums use the systems named, which are the dearer ones. Pair ten pages with $400 of automated email instead and the parts come to $2,900 — under the tier. What you would be giving up for that is the dashboard, so if you want to edit the site yourself, buy the tier; if you do not, say so and I will quote the parts.
Extra pages beyond a tier's count are $200 each. The founding 20% comes off the whole first invoice — tier and systems together.
Not a website?
Some of what I build is not a website at all. A high-school football staff was tracking defensive production on a spreadsheet that was good at holding numbers and no use at answering questions. It is now a dashboard: type in a box score, and it gives back a page per player, a page per game, and a plain-English read on what the numbers actually say.
That started as a conversation, not a package. If what you need is an internal tool, a dashboard, or software that takes over a job you are currently doing by hand, tell me what it has to do. You get the same thing as everyone else — one fixed price, in writing, before any work starts.
Optional Care, month to month.
The site runs without it. Care means the edits, the updates and the reviews are mine to handle, not yours — cancel anytime. Founding clients get their first 3 months of Plus free.
Essential
Kept safe, with the small stuff done.
- Security updates applied
- Up to 1 hour of edits a month — colours, fonts, a photo, hours, a phone number
- Email support, answered in 3 business days
- A copy of your site & data whenever you ask
Plus
Real changes made for you, and a check-up twice a year.
- Everything in Essential, plus:
- Up to 2 hours of changes a month — new sections, reworked pages, content
- Software & dependency updates
- Full site review every 6 months
- A copy of your site & data kept off-site every 6 months
- Support answered in 2 business days
Pro
Front of the queue, and eyes on it every month.
- Everything in Plus, plus:
- Up to 4 hours of changes a month
- Your requests go to the front of the queue
- Full site review every month, with a short written report
- Report an outage or a broken checkout and it jumps every other job
What an hour of my time costs
Counting only the hours — not the updates, the reviews or the off-site copy, which come with a plan and are billed without one.
What the monthly fee is for
- Software does not sit still. The code your site is built on ships security updates, Stripe retires API versions, and browsers change. A site nobody has opened in two years is not the site that launched.
- Without a plan, every small thing is a negotiation. You notice it, you email me, you wait for a quote, then you wait for my calendar behind whatever I am building. A plan skips all three: the time is already bought, the answer time is committed in writing, and I do not price a fifteen-minute fix.
- The hours are cheaper inside a plan. Without one the smallest billable change is an hour, so a five-minute price change costs $75. Essential is $69 and covers a full hour, with the two above included.
What Care is not: the monitoring. Every site I build is checked every five minutes — not that the page loads, but that the database behind it still answers — and I am alerted when it stops. That runs whether or not you pay me monthly, so it is not what a plan buys. What a plan buys is my time to fix what the alert found, and the honest limit is worth saying: a checkout that breaks politely still returns a success code, so the check cannot see it. Nothing watches that yet. It is a real thing I can set up, and I would rather quote it than let you assume it is already there.
When not to buy a plan: if the site is a brochure you will not change, and you are happy to email me the once or twice a year something comes up, skip it. Say so on the call and I will not raise it again.
Agency hourly figure is WebFX's published rate card for website work, checked 21 September 2026 — a rate card, not survey data. The rest are my own rates, divided by the time each plan includes.
On every plan — and with no plan at all — your domain and monthly usage are yours to pay: billed at cost with no markup, and variable, because hosting scales with your traffic. Typically $5–15 a month for a local business site, more in a heavy month.
The same build, three ways to buy it.
What a Business-tier site costs from an agency, at my standard rate, and at the founding rate.
Why mine costs less
- You work with the person writing the code. No account manager, no project manager, no markup on either.
- No sales team, no office, no retainer minimum.
- Hosting is billed at cost, so I earn nothing on what your site costs to run.
The bottom two figures are my own published rates. The agency figure is my estimate of what a build of this scope is quoted at, and I would rather label it than dress it up: no credible public survey reports what US small businesses actually pay for a website, and the “61% spent under $10,000” figure attributed to Clutch all over the web does not appear in Clutch's report. What agencies do publish is rate cards: WebFX lists web design at $1,000–$30,000 and $150 an hour for website work. Checked 21 September 2026. The longer version is in what a small business website costs.
Simple, no-surprises process.
Free call
A quick 20 minutes to understand your business, goals, and what the site needs to do. You get a clear quote and timeline.
Design & build
I design the site around your brand and your customers, then build the real thing — payments, booking, dashboard, SEO — on a live preview link you watch the whole way.
Launch & care
We go live on your domain, I show you the dashboard, and — if you want — I keep it running with a Care plan.
Good to know.
How long does a website take?
Most Starter and Business sites launch in 2–4 weeks, depending on scope and how quickly you get me content. A Professional build takes longer — you'll get a timeline on our first call.
Can I update the site myself?
Yes — that's the point. Business and Professional builds come with a simple dashboard where you edit text, photos, pricing, and hours yourself, with no code and no waiting on me.
Can I add a feature later?
Any system on the list costs the same whether it goes in at launch or a year later, so there is no penalty for starting smaller. The only thing that changes is the queue — I'll tell you when I can start.
Who owns what?
Your domain, your content, your photos and your customer data are yours — during the build and after it, and they leave with you if you ever go. The site's code is licensed to you to use, and stays mine: it runs on infrastructure I manage, which is what keeps the price where it is and lets me fix things without waiting on anyone.
What about payments and booking?
I set up real payment processing through Stripe (deposits, checkout, tipping) and booking systems that prevent double-bookings.
What do you charge to maintain it?
The site works on its own after launch, and hosting is billed at cost (~$5–15/mo, no markup). If you'd rather not think about updates and small edits, an optional Care plan handles it — Essential $69, Plus $129, or Pro $249 a month, each with an amount of my time included, cancel anytime. With no plan, a change after launch is $75 an hour with a one-hour minimum.
Let's build your website.
Tell me what your business needs. I'll reply within one business day, set up a free 20-minute call, and you'll get a fixed quote in writing — no pressure, no jargon.
Founding rate: 20% off for the first 5 clients, through November 30, 2026.
