The terms that apply when you use this website.

masonobegi.com is owned and run by Obegi Software LLC, a Washington limited liability company and Mason Obegi's web studio. "I" and "me" below mean Obegi Software LLC. By using the site you agree to what follows. These terms cover the website. The work I do for clients is governed by the written quote and agreement for that project, which takes precedence over anything here.
Using the site
Browse it, read it, get in touch. Please do not attempt to disrupt it, break into it, scrape it at a volume that affects other people, or use it to send anything unlawful.
Comments and reviews
Anyone can comment on a Library article, and clients can send a review. Keep it lawful and honest: no spam, no abuse or harassment, nothing defamatory, nobody else's personal information, and nothing you do not have the right to post. A review should be about work I actually did for you. You keep ownership of what you write; by posting it, you give me permission to show it on this site, and a published review alongside my work. I check every review before it appears, and I may decline or remove any comment or review.
The Website Checkup
The free Website Checkup is an automated reading of a site's public pages. Its scores and suggestions can be incomplete or wrong; they are not a professional audit and not a guarantee about any site. Please do not use it in a way meant to burden someone else's site.
What is on the site is not a contract
Prices, packages, and timelines shown here are starting prices and estimates, not an offer. Nothing becomes binding until you have a written quote from me and you have accepted it. I can change what is published here at any time; a quote I have already given you does not change underneath you.
Payments
This website does not take payments. Hosting clients are invoiced through Stripe, as set out in the hosting and billing terms below; everything else about paying for a project, refunds included, is in that project's agreement.
Who owns what
The text, design, code, and original images on this site are mine unless marked otherwise, and may not be reproduced without permission. Project screenshots may show client brands and trademarks, which belong to those clients. For client work, ownership is set out in that project's agreement — as a rule, your domain, content, photos, and customer data are yours.
Enquiries
Sending me a message does not create a working relationship or oblige either of us to anything. I reply to what I can, and I may decline work.
Links out
This site links to services and client sites I do not control. I am not responsible for what is on them or whether they are available.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. I do my best to keep it accurate and online, but I do not guarantee that it is free of errors or always reachable.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States.
Changes
I may update these terms; the date at the top will say when. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.

Terms & Conditions — Hosting, Billing & SMS
Hosting & billing
Mason Obegi (masonobegi.com) hosts client websites on third-party infrastructure and bills each client monthly for that project's measured usage, plus any agreed flat care-plan fee. Amounts are computed from the provider's metered usage for the billing period and may vary slightly (up to ~1%) due to rounding. Invoices are issued through Stripe and are due within 14 days.
SMS Terms
By providing your mobile number and consenting, you agree to receive account and billing text messages from Mason Obegi — primarily your monthly invoice and its payment link. Message frequency is recurring but low (typically one per billing cycle). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe; by paying an invoice you agree to Stripe's terms. Late or unpaid invoices may result in suspension of hosting after reasonable notice.
